Carts

  • 2 players per cart
  • 2 carts per group

Range Balls

  • Range balls are not provided at Scholl Canyon Golf Course.
  • Range balls are provided at Oakmont Country Club.

Practice Rounds

  • No practice rounds at Oakmont Country Club (unless you are an OCC member).

Scoring

  • Players are required to post their own scores.

Index

  • All players over a 16.0 index will play to a 16.0 index.

Driving Range

  • Oakmont Country Club’s driving range opens at 9:30AM.

Attire

  • Proper attire is required at Oakmont Country Club: Collared Shirt, No Denim, No Bermuda Shorts, No Cargo Shorts

Tie Breaker Rules for Qualifier Round

If a tie occurs after regulation play at the qualifier for the Glendale City Golf Championship the tie will be broken as follows:

1. Take the net or gross score (depending on flight, if it is a net flight you take the net score and gross flight shall be the gross score) on the back nine low score moves on.

2. If still tied, take the last six (6) holes scores and the low score moves on.

3. If still tied, take the last three (3) holes scores and the low score moves on.

4. If still tied, go match play starting on 18 and going backward until a qualifier is determined.

Tie Breaker Rules for Final Round

If a tie occurs for the championship, a champion shall be determined by playing number 18 at the championship golf course as a par 3 from 150 yards. The playoff for the championship will be played gross. There will be no handicaps involved in the sudden death playoff. If still tied after the first attempt, the hole will be played gain until a champion is determined.
